DST: Sunday, March 13, 2016 2:00 am to Sunday, November 6, 2016
You have a choice today. You can read my post on DST from 2015 (which is a rehash of my 2014 DST post) by clicking on the link above
OR,
You can listen to this John Oliver YouTube video on Daylight Saving Time, which covers pretty much the same information, namely:
DST is bad for our health
DST was never supported by farmers
(Pssst, you could do both.)
If you’d like to sign the petition to do away with Daylight Saving Time, you can do that here.
Now, I’m turning over and going back to sleep while I can.
How about you? What upsides do you see in having the time change?
See you next week when we’ll be celebrating Mr. Rogers’ birthday.
I dislike time changes both to DST and then back to standard. It takes me so long to adjust.
I’m bi-annually amazed that DSL continues to prevail. I believe in my 2014 DSL post I identified the charcoal briquette lobby (and oil) as the main supporters of the status quo here. Maybe it’s like the weather: we all just like to complain about it, and know we can do nothing about it.
See you soon.
I am providing a link to this post when I publish mine next week about DST and sleep deprivation. Today it’s all about the Irish.
Redux is fine here – so timely!
Hey Marian, Would that be called reredux then?
I’m eager to read your blog. Thanks for the link.
