Woody’s Book Page
My husband, Woody, wrote five novels while we served in Kazakhstan; I’m pleased to showcase them here. Purchase links are included below.
During his 35 years as a professor, he’d written eight textbooks, all between four and eight in the morning. Living in Kazakhstan as a Peace Corps volunteer and English teacher, his textbook days behind him but his lifelong habit of waking early still with him, what else could he do at 4 a.m. but continue writing? This time he focused on the kinds of books he likes to read — novels with adventure, intrigue, and a bit of fun.
The first three books, a trilogy, feature the likable characters of Charles Dereva and Louise Danvers.
They don’t look foreboding, and that is their strength. Charles and Louise, an older, married couple carry out assignments at the behest of the U.S. President. Being older, elderly to some, they are able to maneuver themselves into situations that might stymie someone who better looked the part of spy. And they have special powers.
The first “Charles and Louise” saga: MOLP, is available in paperback, eBook, and audio.
KMEDJZIK, available in paperback and eBook
